The Capital High Eagles delivered Vegas drama at its finest, taking down the undefeated Payson Lions (UT) in a nail-biting 73-72 victory to claim the Tarkanian Ball Dawg Championship. With the game tied and just six seconds left, Isaiah Telleria sank 1 of 2 free throws to put Capital ahead. After a Payson timeout, the Eagles' suffocating defense sent the Lions into a frenzy, denying them even a final shot as the clock ran out.

Marcellus Clay was unstoppable, lighting up the scoreboard with 28 points on a sizzling 12-of-17 shooting night. He added 5 rebounds, 6 assists, and 5 steals in a performance worthy of the Vegas spotlight. Telleria chipped in 14 points, while Quincey Clay (10 points) and Jack Smith (9 points) played key roles in the thrilling win.

The Eagles’ grit, clutch play, and lockdown defense brought home the championship in epic fashion. Capital ruled the Vegas hardwood and left the Tarkanian Classic with all the glory!
