Capital Falls to Mountain View in Post-Break Struggle

In their first game back from the holiday break, the Capital High Eagles couldn’t overcome a tough shooting night, falling to the Mountain View Mavericks 67-56. The game started rocky, with Capital trailing 16-2, but the Eagles clawed their way back to within two at halftime, 31-29.

Unfortunately, the shots didn’t fall in the second half, and the Mavericks capitalized to pull away. Yassin Muktar led the Eagles with 10 points and 3 rebounds, while Daiken Lowe added 7 points and 4 boards.

Despite the rare off-night, Capital remains strong and will look to bounce back quickly from just their second loss of the season.
