Capital Falls to Boise in Tight Rivalry Battle, 66-62
The Capital High Eagles fell short against cross-town rival Boise, losing by 4 points despite an uncharacteristically poor shooting night. The Eagles were able to stay in the game with Quincey Clay leading the charge, posting 18 points and dominating the glass with 8 rebounds. Isaiah Telleria ground out 13 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 charges taken, while Jack Smith chipped in with 8 points and 6 rebounds to keep Capital within striking distance, but ultimately still fell short.
Capital holds a 2-1 overall record and will look to bounce back from this stinging loss against 4A power, the Cole Valley Chargers.
